Squiggle & Heart, No. 48

This morning, after weeping my way through reading the headlines about the atrocities humans are waging (or planning/threatening to wage) against one another in the world, I came across the news of the asteroid which came extremely close to earth last night, and found it an oddly peaceful thought. Somehow the blamelessness of a rock hurtling through our planet’s atmosphere was a welcome relief to how we are destroying one another.
