Live footage of a conversation I had with my brain last week…

I managed to catch myself before I spent hours putting a self tape together (for an open call from which the project likely wasn’t even casting) but I was struck by the similarities between The Monster’s campaign right now - and the absolute certainty that he does not want the job - and why I keep catching myself auditioning or considering auditioning for things I don’t ultimately want to do. Gratefully, I, unlike certain candidates, have self awareness, can analyze this behavior, and get out of both my own way and the way of someone who really does want the role.
