Squiggle & Heart #13
I’ve been wanting to make one of these where Squiggle gets to take care of Heart, and the Yoga Nidra practice I do when my chest starts to vibrate in the middle of the night, seemed the best example for that.
To be honest, there aren’t that many practices from my days as a yoga teacher that I still do, but this one, in particular in times when I am living in global heartbreak, is indispensable. There’s lots of literature you can find about Yoga Nidra practices (body scanning is just one small part of a much bigger technique) so I won’t bore you with a How-To here, but I do recommend checking it out.
I hope in this challenging and endlessly disappointing time, that you are finding ways to stay deeply present with what you are feeling, finding rest, and allowing lovely moments to resource you.
