As a former couch-cushion-fort-builder, I was very excited to talk about Beau’s #FortLife. I also enjoyed having a chance to show him my mistakes. I’ve been returning to Fred Rogers’ wisdom repeatedly as I engage in this project for children, and it felt resonant that in the same week I was editing Beau’s episode, I stumbled across this behind the scenes clip:
