Do Not Count Your Gifts...
As the semester barrels to a close the thought of drawing or painting feels like a distant whisper, though I am hopeful the muse will tap me on the shoulder in a few weeks’ time. For now, a little poem emerged in my journal the other day, which I thought I would share, along with this Nosara Sunset I did about a year ago. The original was a gift for teacher Joan Halifax, with whom I was very briefly studying in Costa Rica.
