Benched.

I have had an incredible experience this year adjuncting at Tisch/Playwrights Horizons Theater School. My therapist has been telling me for over a decade that she sees a teacher in me, and that it would be something I might want to investigate. In 17+ years she has rarely been wrong, and this situation is par for the course: Wednesdays and Fridays are my favorite days, filled with purpose and satisfaction as I head to and from my classroom.

But PHTS is such a uniquely supportive and collaborative place, I have been wanting to experience other institutions to see if I like teaching at the college level in general or if I like it there specifically. In order to get a taste for other schools without committing anywhere, I thought getting on the sub list at programs in New York City where my particular skillsets might be helpful would be a great way to dip toes in other ponds.
